Steve Harvey's FUNDERDOME Episode 8 Recap

On Episode 8 of Steve Harvey's FUNDERDOME, a new batch of aspiring inventors hoping to win over a live studio audience to fund their ideas, products or companies include: a cloth that allows pets to be carried; a unique scratching post for cats; a subscription service for cosmetically challenged produce; shirts that allow men or women to hold babies close to the body; and a device that prevents mold from ruining hair weaves. Hosted by Steve Harvey, in each episode of Steve Harvey's FUNDERDOME, the inventors will go head to head, pitching their products to the studio audience. The studio audience will represent the "customer," and since the customer is always right, they will be voting to determine the winner.

Pet Pita vs. X-Purr

Pet Pita is a sturdy cloth with holes for feet that allows you to carry your pet easily and safely. Inventor: Bryce from Potsdam, New York

X-Purr is a unique scratching post for cats. Inventors: Natasha and Arloa from Los Angeles, California

Weave Dryer vs. The Restroom Kit

Weave Dryer is a device that helps prevent mold and mildew from ruining expensive hair weaves. Inventor: Michalyn from Missouri City, Texas

The Restroom Kit is a pocket-sized package that contains essential items that are often missing in public restrooms. Inventors: Sonia & Bill from Clinton, Maryland

Imperfect Produce vs. Lalabu

Imperfect Produce is a subscription service for cosmetically challenged produce. Inventor: Ben from Emeryville, California

Lalabu are shirts that allow both men and women to hold their babies close to the body. Inventors: Keri and Brian from Atlanta, Georgia

FUNDED: Imperfect Produce - $100,000

Before revealing the results of the crowd's majority vote, Steve Harvey will present the inventors with a major dilemma. One of the inventors is allowed to cash out and walk away for a lesser amount.
